Sending large files - Use WeTransfer

We've all tried to send files via email, only to have the email ping back and tell us the attachment it too large to send. You still want to send your files, and you may not want to let the email programme downscale your images so it looses the quality you want it to present. WeTransfer allows you to send files, as many as you like, up to 2GB, which is equivelent to 4 hours of video. It's also incredibly simple to use.

You will see a page, usually full of colour of moving images (these are adverts which keeps WeTransfer free).
On the left hand side you will see a box that looks like this:

Step 1: Click on the purple + icon and navigate in your computer to select the files you want to send. 
Step 2: Type in the email address of who you want to send the file(s) to.
Step 3: Type in your email. - You will have to confirm its yours later, so make sure it's correct.
Step 4: Give it a title. Something relevant to what you're sending so that the reciever knows what is coming. 
Step 5: Write a little message, tell the sender what you're sending them and let them know who you are.
Step 6: Click Transfer
Step 7: Check your emails. WeTransfer will have sent you an email to check it is you who is sending the files. Click the link in their email to verify your intent to send. 
Step 8: The files should now arrive with who you're sending them to. They have 7 days to recieve them and download the files onto their computer. When they download the files, you will recieve another email from WeTransfer letting you know. If they don't download them, you will be warned near to when the file expires, or after the time period has passed and the files didn't get downloaded.

WeTransfer is availble on your smart phone. Take a look at the Google Play Store, or the Apple AppStore and Search for 'WeTransfer' to download the latest version. 

How safe is we transfer?
