I am an internationally exhibiting Fine Artist from Kent. I recently completed my master’s in Fine Art at UCA Canterbury. I specialise in drawing, drawing obsessively on 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional forms. My practice is inspired by literature, and I explore themes of womanhood, self, and the domestic. The work is decadently intricate and detailed, subverting conventional images of beauty and femininity to explore darker realities.
I have recently shown with the Royal Scottish Academy and shown with the Turner Contemporary, Royal British Society of Artists and the Supermarket Art Fair in Stockholm. As a member of ArtCan I regularly exhibit with them. History permeates my influence, and I have worked with Jane Austen’s House on a residency to explore Jane and worked with Pow! Thanet to deliver an exhibition about the Greenham Women.
