Beverly Johnson lives and works in Aylesford and holds a degree in Art History.
A lino cutting course in 2015 and the acquisition of an original 1860 Albion printing press proved to be turning points from which the printmaking practice has developed and flourished. The original, limited edition lino prints are often based in nature and have a simple graphic Japanese feel to them. Beverly also enjoys exploring the use of collage and plant prints to create hybrid mixed media works with a similar aesthetic. Beverly loves the authenticity of the handmade and strives to make work in which the viewer can find balance and beauty that is a joy to live alongside. She exhibits widely, including in London, accepts commissions, and runs occasional workshops.
